Admins have faster access to key info and pending tasks

Plane’s platform has undergone renovation! We just released the new Home experience to all administrators. This streamlined experience offers easier access to key info in your account, including team member updates, pending tasks, and more.

Admins will see four new informative tabs under the Home section of your Plane account:

Dashboard: Get quick “glances” of bite-sized information, such as team members’ current and upcoming time off, holidays, work anniversaries, and team member count by country. Event and milestone glances highlight what’s happening in the next two weeks. You can click on each glance to get more details.

Tasks: Manage all of your pending tasks in one view, including new hire onboarding and running payroll

Notifications: See important notifications, such as upcoming and processed charges, completed onboarding, and contract status updates

Calendar: Stay up-to-date on important events and milestones, like work anniversaries, public holidays, and more

The previous Home experience is retiring.

The new experience was released as an option for admins late last year. If you haven’t opted into the experience yet, you will be automatically switched to the new experience in your account on August 22, 2024.When you sign in to your account, you’ll be taken to the Dashboard page of the new Home experience. Click on any other page under the Home section to check out Tasks, Notifications, and the Calendar.

Is there a new Home experience for contractors and employees?

Yes! In July, we released the new Home experience to all contractors, employees, and vendors. That launch included a new dashboard, dedicated pages for tasks and notifications, and a new Personal page where users can update their legal and preferred names and edit their personal email.
